Signing your agreement

Four steps: verify with a code, review the agreement, choose your monthly minimum volume and sign, and receive the executed copy.

Why do I need a code?

Before you see the agreement we email a 6-digit code to the address AMRAM FX has for you. Entering it shows the person signing controls that mailbox. A code is only for that visit: it lasts 10 minutes and works only for your agreement. After 5 wrong codes the link locks to protect you.

How long is my signing link valid?

Usually 48 hours from when we email it: the exact time is shown on the page and in our email. We send one reminder with the same link after 24 hours. Each time you open it you confirm a new code, and you can request a new code any time. If the link runs out, reply to our email: we can extend it for another 48 hours or send you a new link.

What does “Remember this device for 30 days” do?

Tick it after entering your code, on your own computer or phone only. Next time you open the same link in the same browser you will not need a code, until 30 days pass or the link expires, whichever is sooner. It only works for this agreement and for you. You still review the agreement and confirm the declaration before signing, and our evidence records that your identity was checked by email code and this device was trusted afterwards. Choose “Forget this device” on the signing page to stop it at any time.

Is an electronic signature legally valid?

Yes. In England and Wales an electronic signature is admissible and can bind a party (Electronic Communications Act 2000 and UK eIDAS). This portal uses a simple electronic signature backed by an evidence record: who signed, what was signed (a SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact document), when, how your identity was checked, and your declaration of intent.

What does “document fingerprint” mean?

It is the SHA-256 hash of the exact PDF approved by AMRAM FX. Your signature is recorded against that fingerprint, so anyone can later check the document was not changed. The copy you review on screen carries a “For review by …” watermark; the fingerprint is of the clean approved file.

Do I have to draw my signature?

No. You can draw it with a mouse, finger or pen, or type your name and we show it in a signature style. Both are equally valid; what matters is your declaration and the evidence record.

Why do I choose a monthly minimum volume when signing?

Section 2 and clause 4.7 of the agreement ask your business to commit to a monthly minimum volume of settled transactions: £100,000 or £200,000 per calendar month. You choose it yourself on the signing step, just before you sign; the agreement you review shows “To be selected by the Client when signing” until then. Your choice is recorded with your signature and printed in the executed agreement (section 2 and the signature page). There is no shortfall fee: if a month is missed, AMRAM FX reviews your expected activity with you. If you are not sure which to choose, choose “Request changes” and ask us first.

What is the agreed service start date, and can I change it?

It is the date your services start (section 1 of the agreement). It is filled in with the day you first opened the agreement, and before you sign you can change it to any date up to 90 days later (not earlier). Your 30-day billing cycle starts on this date, or on the day your account is activated if that is later: the first £250 invoice, sent when the agreement is signed by both parties, covers the first 30 days. Your choice is recorded with your signature and printed in the executed agreement.

When do I pay the invoices?

When both parties have signed, we email you the £475 onboarding invoice and the first £250 maintenance invoice. Both are payable within 2 calendar days (48 hours) and must be paid before your account is activated. Later maintenance invoices (every 30 days) are payable within 14 calendar days.

Is there a minimum term?

Yes. Clause 7.1 sets a minimum term (12 months unless the agreement says otherwise) from the date AMRAM FX activates your services. During it you cannot end the agreement for convenience; you can still end it if AMRAM FX materially breaches it, and it ends if the Provider closes your account. After the minimum term, either party can give 30 days’ written notice.

Why does the agreement say “FOR SIGNATURE” across the pages?

It marks the approved version that is waiting for signatures. The executed copy you receive after both parties have signed shows only the faint AMRAM FX logo and is sealed.

What happens after I sign?

AMRAM FX’s authorised signatory countersigns the same document. We then add an execution page with both signatures, seal the PDF with an AMRAM FX organisation seal (any later change breaks the seal), and email it to you. You can also download it from your link for 30 days.

I want something changed before I sign.

Do not sign. Choose “Request changes” (below the agreement, or on the signing step), then tell us what you would like changed. Sending it closes your link, so it can no longer be used. AMRAM FX will prepare a new version and email you a new link; the new version shows “What changed in this version” at the top so you can check the changes before you sign.

What does “What changed in this version” mean?

When AMRAM FX sends you a new version of an agreement, for example after you requested changes, they summarise what is different from the version you saw before. The summary appears above the document. It is there to help you, but it is the document itself that you sign, so please still read it in full.

Something in the agreement is wrong.

Do not sign. Choose “Request changes” on the signing step and tell us what is wrong; we will send you a corrected version. If you do not want to go ahead at all, choose “Decline to sign”.

My link has expired or says it was withdrawn.

Links expire (usually after 48 hours) and are withdrawn if the agreement or the signer changes. Contact us and we will send a new link.

Can I forward the link to a colleague?

Please don’t. The code is sent to your email address, so a colleague could not complete it, and a remembered device only works in your own browser. If someone else should sign, ask AMRAM FX to change the signer.

What do you record about me?

Your name and job title as you enter them, your email address, the time of each step, your IP address and browser details, and your signature. This evidence is kept with the agreement for as long as AMRAM FX must keep its records.

Documents shared with you

  • AMRAM FX can send you documents through a secure link. Before any file names are shown we send a 6-digit code by email or WhatsApp to confirm it is you.
  • Files open on the page and are marked with your name and the time. Some are view only; others can be downloaded a limited number of times.
  • Every view and download is recorded. Links expire, and AMRAM FX can withdraw a link at any time. Contact us if you still need the documents.
